Performance Management: Two-Part Series As fast-growing companies undergo rapid change and the roles and responsibilities of employees continue to evolve, performance management becomes increasingly important as a tool to motivate and direct employees. There are two components of any performance management system: the performance measurement tool and the feedback conversation. A two-part presentation series by Terranova Consulting Group will offer advice on these two components. Part I will focus on the nuts and bolts of developing a strong performance measurement tool and Part II will focus on how managers can provide effective performance feedback.

Giving performance feedback to employees is one of the most powerful tools managers have to motivate employees, direct employee's performance, and create change within the organization. It is also one of the most challenging roles a manager must play. Are you comfortable giving performance feedback to employees? When you have to give negative feedback, are you unsure how to say it in a way that gets heard?

Join us to learn how to open up lines of communication with employees, deliver feedback effectively, and help employees improve their performance. We'll discuss the issues and challenges of giving performance feedback, provide basic coaching techniques, and practice giving feedback through role plays. We will also briefly discuss what you need to think about if you decide to terminate an employee. It will be a fun and highly interactive 90-minute session that will help you motive your employees and create lasting change within your teams.
